Directed Monorail Systems Engineering for the Cairo Monorail Project, ensuring seamless system integration and on-time project execution, significantly enhancing operational efficiency. Led the telecommunications, Centralised Control, and Signalling management in Project Management Consultancy Services for the EPC of the Cairo Monorail project, covering the 6th of October and New Cairo Capital lines, driving project success.

As a key approval authority, oversaw the delivery of telecommunication subsystems, SCADA, Centralised Control, Platform Screen Doors, switches, and signalling systems, ensuring adherence to high-quality standards. Additionally, approved designs, plans, and drawings, thoroughly assessing and endorsing all costs and contractual requirements, ensuring compliance with project standards and budget constraints.

Led the telecom engineering team for the WDFC project, overseeing the design and construction of critical systems for the Rewari – Vadodara electrified railway section in Phase 1, ensuring successful implementation. Enhanced telecom system designs during project reviews with clients.

Managed construction schedules and payments to contractors, ensuring smooth execution and clear communication. Delivered Phase I on time and within budget, demonstrating strong project management and cost control. Conducted detailed EPC contractor audits and managed inspections for FAT and IFAT, ensuring all telecom equipment met project standards through rigorous testing.

Contributed to the development of the Dubai Light Rail Transport System (Red and Green Lines), Dubai Purple Line, and Al-Sufouh Tram Project, enhancing urban transit infrastructure. Oversaw the development and administration of telecommunication sub-systems, including program administration, change facilitation, and implementation of comprehensive plans and procedures. Led the post-contract expert review, providing critical feedback on the telecommunication design to ensure design integrity and compliance.

Led the detailed design of communication systems for multiple London Underground station redevelopment projects, enhancing station infrastructure. Identified impacted telecoms infrastructure and outlined designs for systems including CCTV, PA, SMS, PHP, VIEDS, CLOCK, and operational telecoms, ensuring comprehensive planning. Developed design deliverables such as cable schedules, equipment layouts, and schematics, optimising project design efficiency

Worked on the Delhi Metro Rail Project (DMRC) for Line III, overseeing the entire project lifecycle from design to commissioning. Managed engineering teams and subcontractors, ensuring seamless execution. Handled stakeholder change requests, led installation and commissioning of transmission and fibre optics networks, and maintained effective communication with management. Managed project activities, including scope definition, network diagrams, cost analyses, and securing customer sign-off. Supervised telecommunication subsystem design and development, ensuring project scope, schedule, quality, and cost management.

Contributed to the Delhi Metro Rail Project (DMRC) for Lines I & II, enhancing urban transit infrastructure. Designed the transmission network and system for Alcatel 1660/1650, STM1, and STM4 wire cross-connects, ensuring protection levels met contract specifications. Planned and designed data networks, optimising network performance using Nortel Equipment, Alcatel Access MUX, Compaq Servers, Rockwell’s PLC, and DWDM Equipment for Video Transmission.

Led the commissioning of the transmission system and managed the Installation Engineers Team, ensuring successful project deployment. Integrated Metro Rail sub-systems on TCP/IP, STM4/16, DWDM, Fibre, & Low-Speed Channels; managed SCADA system integration for Tunnel Ventilation, conducting extensive testing with data & transmission networks and lifesaving equipment.

As a Telecom Manager, I lead the development of integrated EPC project proposals for clients like ADNOC and BP. I specialise in enhancing proposal accuracy, automating engineering processes, and boosting success rates.

Led the development and deployment of various telecom systems, including Optical Fiber, SDH Transmission, PABX, CCTV, and Radio Systems. Reviewed techno-commercial bid documents to optimise project planning. Assessed technical specifications and drawings for accuracy and compliance. Devised and implemented execution plans, successfully delivering projects aligned with stakeholder expectations. Collaborated with QA to address quality issues per ISO procedures. Developed a data analytics system to enhance engineering accuracy. Updated 20+ Petrofac telecommunication standards to align with industry practices and international norms.

Managed the Telecommunication and Security System Contract for CPF Phase 1 at Badra Oil Field, Iraq, ensuring seamless integration and project success. Provided expert technical consultancy on Telecom Equipment issues. Monitored EPC detailed engineering design for compliance with project requirements. Reviewed and validated design specifications and drawings prepared by contractors and vendors. Provided strategic technical recommendations for equipment selection, enhancing system performance and reliability.

Worked the $2.4 billion EPC contract for ADCO’s ASAB Full Field Development Project, driving successful onshore Oil & Gas operations. Led a team of engineers and designers in executing detailed engineering tasks, enhancing project accuracy and efficiency. Executed comprehensive telecom activities, including SDH, TCP/IP networks, fibre optics, CCTV, telephone networks, PA systems, VSAT, structured cabling, well-site communication, and radio systems. Resolved scope and technical interface issues, delivered technical presentations, and engaged with senior management. Planned, scheduled, and managed telecom project activities. Reviewed and approved vendor drawings and documentation, managed detailed design, and facilitated factory acceptance testing. Supervised the development of technical telecom solutions, prepared FEED for Laggan Tormore - TOTAL, and ensured accuracy in specifications, calculations, and drawings.

Designed Oil and Gas telecommunication systems, reviewed vendor installation drawings, attended progress meetings, conducted site visits, and coordinated with clients for the Dolphin Gas Plant, Qatar Project.

Implemented a Cisco network infrastructure for Wipro Spectramind, enhancing performance and reliability. Installed and configured Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), Firewalls, Routers, and LAN Switches, strengthening security and efficiency. Managed the installation and configuration of Cisco IGX/MGX switches and tested IT security components, ensuring seamless operations in a mission-critical call centre environment.

Managed installation, testing, and commissioning of Cisco Routers 7507 & 7206, Cisco RAS AS5800 & AS5300, and Switches 5505 at five ISP locations, enhancing infrastructure and connectivity. Oversaw integration of Type A Node at Data Network Delhi, facilitating international internet bandwidth connectivity for BSNL’s National Backbone in Bihar, improving network capacity and performance.

Implemented the installation of VSAT remote sites and the Central VSAT Hub, enhancing network connectivity. Operated in the Citibank Telecommunication Operation Centre, enhancing communication infrastructure. Led installation and maintenance of a 64kbps leased line backbone network, ensuring maximum uptime. Executed network configuration assignments, including CASE 840 Multiplexer, X.25 Network, Gateway PAD, Encryptions, Dial-up Modems, and Novell 3.11 Networks.
